KOTO Cooking Class

KOTO Cooking Class offers lessons on Modern Vietnamese Cuisine. Lessons are delivered by our chefs who are alumni of the KOTO Training Program.

Discover the produce of Vietnam as you are introduced to the local market by your chef, and choose the best ingredients for your cooking class! You’ll truly have an opportunity to learn about what Vietnamese food is all about.

Later, your chefs will teach you how to make authentic, yet refined Vietnamese food so you’ll be able to recreate your own Vietnamese flavours at home! Choose from 4 different set menus and get cooking!

A totally different cooking class as you enjoy a chat with our talented alumni and trainees who are working at the restaurant, get to know their stories and at the end of the class. For lunch, everyone will sit down together and enjoy the food that you create together!

About the Host

KOTO stands for “Know one, teach one”. This philosophy has been with the organization since the KOTO story begins at a small sandwich shop with 8 street kids, who were KOTO’s trainee at the time. KOTO loves people and has made it a mission to communicate KOTO’s philosophy to the world through impeccable culinary art, caring service and exceptional stories about people who succeed against all odds. KOTO is a unique nonprofit social enterprise that empowers at-risk and disadvantaged youth in Vietnam through international accredited, award-winning, holistic hospitality training programme. All profits made in our two training restaurants in Ha Noi and Ho Chi Minh are invested back into the project to fund more trainees. The two restaurants are also the practical platforms for our trainees to get real-life work experience after their training programme.
